The Event
This conference is organised by the European Commission, the Regional Council of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, its Development and Innovation Agency and its regional partners. The main goal is to exchange views on the importance of the challenge of sustainable development for European defence industries. The event will encourage participants to exchange best practices and introduce existing solutions contributing to the greening of the sector and implementing the Green Deal objectives, enhance synergies between civil and defence companies, identify needs from the industry and introduce EU programmes supporting R&D. The event is taking place in the framework of the European Network of Defence-related Regions.
